A delicate cherry colour with a hint of copper. The mousse is fine and persistent. On the nose, there are aromas of red fruits strawberries, raspberries, morello cherries together with spice notes. On the palate, this wine is powerful, vinous and is well balanced. The finish, rich and fresh, is elegant and long lasting. The blend is Chardonnay 51%, Pinot Noir 30%, Pinot Meunier 10% and 9% red still wine from Mareuil sur Ay from old vines. This wine has spent more than 2 years on its lees in our cellars, and rested for 4 to 6 months after disgorgement. Ayala Rose is perfect as an aperitif or with hot appetizers. It will also be superb with salmon or with desserts made out of red fruits or crumbles. GrapeChardonnay 51%, Pinot Noir 30%, Pinot Meunier 10% and 9 % red still wine from Mareuil sur Ay.
