Featuring a 1/2" Square & 1/4" hexagon combined socket/bit holder similar to that seen on the GDX 18 V-LI models, the newly designed GDX 18 V-EC is built around a brushless EC motor for higher efficiency and lower susceptibility to mechanical wear, resulting in an impact tool that is as reliable as it is adaptable.

The compact and rugged GDX 18 V-EC is also suitable for the most challenging of environments - Bosch's Extreme tool protection system protects against adverse weather conditions and dust or particles created in the workspace, while the onboard LED provides illumination in low-visibility areas. The compact design, combined with the tool's low weight, is invaluable when working overhead or in cramped spaces.
