A bounty of rich aromas on the nose everything is there nectarine, white pear, clover honey and subtle hints of coconut all on display. This wine has strong mineral definition, yet a supple mouth feeling and good length due to the gentle lees stirring. The palate is subtle but complex with persimmon, red apple, a hint of white pepper and a faint suggestion of rose petal. Isabel has returned to the modern Alsatian style of Pinot Gris, hinting towards the drier and more mineral focused wine they are known for. This wine is best served lightly chilled and with tuna sashimi or grilled seafood. Limited stock, 2014 vintage coming soon.
