Unlike much of Europe, Tuscany had a good vintage in 1993, as this rare mature example shows. Made from 80% Sangiovese but with added complexity by the addition of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, it has a generous leafy complexity whilst retaining the fruity freshness typical of Chianti.
