A deliberately soft and juicy style of red Burgundy, blending Pinot Noir and Gamay in the traditional 'passetoutgrains' style. The grapes undergo thorough de stemming to remove any harsh tannins, before fermentation and at least 6 months' maturation prior to bottling. Light in weight, with a juicy summer fruit character, where bright flavours of raspberry and strawberry abound. Minimal tannins and a good dash of acidity keep the fruit feeling fresh and lively. Drink at cellar temperature with cold cuts, salads, or mild cheese.
