Colour Good concentration. Intense colour, red and violet reflections. Nose Intense Aroma of wild berries, with strong dominance of ripe red fruit. It also features live, fresh and floral notes in the nose. Palate Excellent structure and concentration ok tannins which provide a good ageing potential. Through intense and steady as much freshness, the tannins are silky and elegant. Nice balance between ripe fruit berries. Good integration between wood and wine. Food Pairing Good harmony with red meat, or traditional Portuguese sausages. Previous decanting will benefit the tasting. It drinks well young but can be matured for up to 15 years. 80% Touriga Nacional, 20% Tinta Roriz. Grapes harvested in the 2nd week of September in 10 days and with a perfect phenolic maturity. Transport of the vineyard for the modern wine making Center in small containers of 20 Kg. Fermentation was made in small temperature controlled stainless steel tanks.
