This print is taken from one of ten famous lithographs by Eric Ravilious known collectively as The Submarine Series. Initially commissioned by the War Artist's Committee in 1940, but then rejected by them leaving Ravilious free to experiment and depict as he pleased.nbspThis is print is the same size as the original lithograph, and is a limited edition of only 950 printed on 310gsm thick 100% cotton rag paper.
