Tenuta dell’Ornellaia have a production philosophy based upon the belief that wines must be an expression of the terrior in which they are grown. Their respect for the Estate’s unique territory guides all aspects of production from limited maximum yields in the vineyard to ensure maximum quality, to selective hand harvesting and ageing. The with a hot and sunny 2009, this wine is rich with intense blackfruit and spicy notes. The glossy tannins give a velvety texture with a lively, crisp acidit giving the wine impressive balance.
