Ripe, red berry fruit flows onto the palate, melding into lovely sweet and briary spice. The finish lingers on a pepper and spice note with typical chalky and youthfully firm tannins. Dark cherry and raspberry fruits mingle with sweet spice, vanilla, hints of savoury roastiness and white pepper nuances. The Fifth Wave is one of Langmeil's most treasured Old Vine Garden Grenache and is dedicated to the fifth generation of the Lindner family. Planted in the middle of the last century, The Fifth Wave is our 'call to arms' to protect, preserve and celebrate the best of the Barossa.
