Meaning 'the old farmhouse', this wine hails from the red Mediterranean soils and chalk debris of the slopes of Mount Ventoux near the town of Mazan in the south of the Rhône Valley. A warm, elegantly structured, spicy red with intense jammy blackberry fruits, strawberry hints and soft tannins. A great quality red and a fantastic companion for meats or cheeses. Having been only lightly fined and filtered, decanting is advisable.
