1988 is a very good vintage in Bordeaux which lives in the shadows of 89 and 90 and offers excellent value for money. With mature and classic St Julian flavours of cedar, leather, plums and cloves this is a wonderfully rich and complex offering from this famous 'super second'. Drink now 2012 with roast meats or a cheeseboard.
