The 2008 is deep purple in colour. The nose shows ripe, red fruit aromas, a touch of vanilla and some mineral notes. The rounded, generous palate is full of red berries and spice and is underpinned by a lovely freshness and fine grained tannins. A wine with powerful fruit intensity yet elegant structure and the long, classy finish of the very best Cahors.
