This 1er Cru site has deeper clay soils and is cooler than most meaning the grapes ripen later and more slowly imbuing the wine with depth and complexity. This is further enhanced by 6 month lees ageing and the wine will develop in bottle for at least 5 to 8 years. A beautiful, brilliant yellow colour the wine expresses fine notes of flowers and toasted almonds. A rich and highly concentrated wine with a lovely refreshing finish. This wine will be delicous with roast pork and apple sauce.
