The styling of this cuve arises from the calculated blend of 50% new French oak and 50 % of the blend enjoying no wood at all! It really does work as the vanilla and cinnamon tones of the wood compliment the tropical fruitiness of the unwooded component. This wine exhibits great intensity of flavour without too much weight. It is impressive in its development of complex taste layers built around spiced apple and citrus with a peachy creamy ending in a long graceful finish. It will continue to develop and expand with greater complexity as it ages.
