A wonderful Chardonnay produced predominantly from very low yielding Mendoza clone vines planted over 20 years ago. Natural fermentation due to ‘wild’ yeasts slows both the onset and duration of fermentation, resulting in a very textural, multi faceted wine. With hints of peach and orange blossom and underlying notes of fig and clover honey, plus a light touch of superbly integrated French oak. Winner of the Top New Zealand Chardonnay Trophy at the 2009 London International Wine Challenge.
