The base of the lamp is made from the finest porcelain and features a charming bird and cherry blossom design.Produced under license from The Ashmolean Museum in Oxford, the Zhi Que pattern is taken from a large pilgrim bottle made in the porcelain capital of China, Jingdezhen, between 1720 and 1760. The bottle was bequeathed to the museum by art historian Gerald Reitlinger.Sitting on a wooden stand, with a simply styled faux silk ivory shade, the lamp adds a touch of Oriental splendour to any home.
