A dark gold colour with copper hints. Penetrating smoky wood aromas. In the mouth the wine is soft, reminiscent of dates and dried apricots. Complex and well balanced. The 'Anada 1997' is a vintage sherry produced from 100 per cent Palomino grapes. In order to preserve the natural sugars fermentation was arrested, and the wine was aged for 17 years in American oak barrels. The 1997 vintage produced 8.000 bottles. Food pairings Pairs well with foie gras, fruit desserts, cakes, pastries and soft cheeses such as the Torta del Casar.
