Red cherry, clean and brilliant with a hint of youth on the rim. High density, good colouration, perhaps too much for a young wine. It can be stored for a while. Very intensive wine aroma with alcohol coming through but not over powering. Toasty wafts and black fruits blackberry and plums. Faint whiffs of cinnamon and vanilla. On the palate Maximum fruit expression, blackberry, currants and plums, without sweetness, enveloping, intensely flavoursome in the mouth with a smooth progression.
