The Renova system is a great idea for replacing knobsets where the door has been cut out with a large 54mm hole allowing you to retrofit lever handles. You save time and money as there is no need to repair or replace your existing doors. The installation is relatively straight forward making the system suitable for both DIY and trade customers. Just follow these 7 easy steps Step 1 Remove the old knobset and mortice latch from the door. Ensure the diameter of the hole cut out measures 54mm. Check you have the correct size backset on your mortice latch and fit this to the door. Fasten two 30mm female sleeves to the fixing disc fig.1 using the 10mm machine screws fig.2. Step 2 Place the fixing disc fitted with the two spacers over the bore hole and then attach the opposite fixing disc using the 20mm machine screws. Ensure the disc is horizontal and the elongated fixing holes are vertical as shown in fig.3. Step 3 Push the spindle through the latch follower ensuring the correct spindle for the door thickness is selected. Fasten two 34mm spacers to the inner rose using the 10mm machine screws as shown in Fig.4. Spacers should be fitted to the left and right of the inner rose. Step 4 Push the inner rose with the two spacers through the fixing disc and guide onto the spindle Fig.5. Take care to ensure the handed sprung roses are mounted to the correct side of the door allowing the lever to travel downwards when fitted. Step 5 Attach the opposite inner rose using the 45mm machine screws. Fig.6 Step 6 Fit the outer rose over the inner rose and turn clockwise until the grub screw is at the bottom, tighten the grub screw, then repeat on the opposite side. Fig.7 Step 7 Finally fit the lever to the inner rose and tighten the grub screw under the lever. Fig.8
