Kyperounda Winery Petritis 2012 75cl Bottle

Kyperounda Winery Petritis 2012 75cl Bottle

This is the top Xynisteri wine in Cyprus. In terms of aroma, it is rich and most compact, dominated by pineapple, peach and butter aromas with vanilla undertones, as part of the wine was allowed to mature for a few months in oak barrels. Due to its location at 1,400 metres above sea level this wine crisp and full of delicious cool climate fruit, featuring a satin rich taste and refreshing aftertaste, all wrapped in an aroma of wild flowers and fresh fruit. For a Xynisteri wine, it has an exceptionally rich mouth, almost fatty, but at the same time absolutely balanced and with intense and persistent flavour. It is the most interesting dry wine that Cyprus has to offer at the moment.
