In 1931 a reviewer named F.H. Hindle remarked “this artist undoubtedly has got the atmosphere of a wet race meeting.” This limited edition giclee print was originally a lino cut print, printed in 1930 by Sybil Andrews features spectators of a horse race, with faces which span a spectrum of emotions and facial expressions, yet all with clenched cuboid hands, stood in hats and coats in the rain.
