Over many years having experimented with old Chilean and Spanish vines of different varieties in order to produce this wine. Cabernet Sauvignon, Carmenere, Tempranillo and Monastrell form the basis of the wine, which is aged for 24 months in new Nevers oak barrels. Beautiful pale cherry colour. Exquisite, fresh tasting wine with notes of fruit raspberry and cranberry and flowers violets. Voluptuous on the palate with fine acidity, fruit notes appear that combine with the wine's pleasant texture. Excellent as an aperitif and the perfect accompaniment for pasta with meat or tomato sauces and certain vegetables. Sublime with oriental food. Serve at 8 10deg C. 92100 Points Wine Spectator Magazine, May 2010 USA 2004 Vintage. 92100 Points Wine Advocate Magazine USA 2001 Vintage. 90100 Points Wine Enthusiast Magazine USA 2000 Vintage.
