Contemporary artist Carne Griffiths creates prints of stunning beauty, from his abstract meets figurative vision. With an impressive roll call of clients from Chanel to the Sultan of Oman Griffiths’ work is informed by his background as a gold wire embroidery designer delicate lines of fluidity course through his work, which he creates from various and sometimes surprising materials, including ink, graphite, brandy and whiskey. ‘The Oracle’ works with an electrifying colour palette, against an inky black background, to create the image of an eye, staring out of a nexus of dynamic lines, splatters of paint and geometric shapes.
