Agave juice is fermented and they have an alcoholic wash known traditionally as pulque, which is then distilled. At the XQ distillery they use traditional copper pot stills and put the spirit through three times, using only the 'heart' of the distillate. Reposado means rested and a reposado can be rested for up to one year. XQ Reposado, as the whole range, is incredibly smooth, largely due to the triple distillation technique used. Rich yet clean agave flavours with hints of vanilla.
