This is the second of Simon C Page’s ‘Super Hero Mash’ prints where he has combined elements from three notable super heroes to create his own mismatched hybrid. It is a clever reduction of cult characters that can be identified via minimal visual information. Batman’s head sits upon the torso of Spiderman and the piece is finished off with Wolverines legs on a pop red background. Simon C Page’s great experience in the field of graphic design is clearly evident in his fine art prints. London based Page has honed his elegant and uncluttered aesthetic, with a reductive style that draws influence from Swiss and Bauhaus design but injects some pop colours.
