Psalm Exaudiat te Dominus is a silkscreen with glaze signed limited edition print by YBA Damien Hirst. The Psalm prints explore the recurring themes of beauty and death the celestial and the earthly. The butterflies wings are arranged in a mandala like circular pattern which also resembles the exquisite stained glass of Europe’s great cathedrals. The butterflies are drawn from Hirst’s larger gloss paintings. A deep golden circle is adorned with concentric rings of yellow orange and white butterfly wings encircle a single pair of wings.
