This is one of many paintings Monet produced of the waterlilies on his garden at Giverny during his later life. He watered to capture the changing light and colours of his amazing garden. The garden is a work of art in itself it was created by Monet who was as keen a gardener as he was an artist and it still draws visitors every year.
