Colour Deep purple red. Nose Red fruits, blackcurrant and raspberry. Palate Fresh and round tasting with a finish of stewed fruits all in finesse. All meats and poultry. Pork is particularly good with this wine. All cheeses. Soil High terraces made up of glacial alluvium with many rounded pebbles, stones and gravels. Harvest Hand harvesting at peak maturity. Vinification Our red Crozes Hermitage La Petite Ruche is vinified in cement vats with 1 daily treading. Fermentation lasts from 10 to 12 days. Maturing Maturing in vats. Bottling in the autumn following harvest so as to preserve the natural fruits bouquet as much as possible.
