For this grand Cuvee, Lanson has prioritized two essential elements of its expertise the blend of Chardonnay 35% and Pinot Noir 65% selected in Grands Crus villages Avize, Chouilly, Le Mesnil sur Oger, Oger, Cramant, Verzenay, Bouzy and the marriage of three exceptional vintages 2002, 2004 and 2005. Blended and aged for five, Lanson Extra Age Rose offers a salmon pink, coppery robe enlivened by a myriad of fine bubbles. The nose reveals the fragrances of red berries and sweetmeats dominated by the aroma of strawberry jam. The taste on the palate reveals the deliciously sour notes of wild strawberry, redcurrants and red fleshed peaches.
