This light red Loire classic made wholly from selected Cabernet franc vines offers a wealth of red fruit and notes of violet on the medium bodied palate. Round and fruity, this wine deliciously accompanies grilled meat, poultry or fish and also can be matched with traditional Loire Valley smoked cheeses. From the vineyards in Dampierre sur Loire, the Cabernet Franc is planted on sand and chalky soil. This vintage was mechanically harvested, sorted and fully destemmed. Separate maceration occured in thermo regulated stainless steel vats to preserve the fresh fruit flavours. The wine was matured in tanks before being bottled in Spring.
