Deep coloured and intense on the nose, with perfumes of dark red fruit and savoury, smoky notes. On the palate it is full bodied and multi layered, with fruit underpinned by fine, supple tannins and well balanced fruit and acidity. More power and warmth than a Tuscan wine, it nevertheless has a finesse and elegance reminiscent of one of the best Chianti Classico estates, with a dark cherry note on the long finish. 100% Sangiovese.
