With spectacular views across Glenlivet, Gallow Hill slopes gently above the Distillery. This rugged and remote landscape has hardly changed since George Smith, The Glenlivets founder, first started distilling his whisky all those years ago. Nose Bursting with fruits from sweet clementine oranges and pears complemented perfectly with toasted almonds and moist, spicy gingerbread. Taste Wonderfully sweet orange flavours balanced with rich milk chocolate and a hint of treacle toffee. Finish Long and refreshing. Bottling date 25.02.2014 Age 16 Years. Cask 142608.
