Made by the esteemed Frederick Burrier of Domaine Beauregard, one of the most prestige producers in the area. The label Joseph Deshaires is named in honour of Frederic's grandfather. After a slow process of pressing and must settling, this Macon Villages is mostly vinified in temperature controlled vats and ages quietly for at least 8 months on fine lees. A well made and very elegantly styled Macon Villages, with more complexity and weight than normally found in this appellation. Easily mistaken for a Cote de Beaune classic like a St Aubin or Savigny.
