Intense and rich with berry, plum and spice aromas. One of the most stylish, elegant roses the wine world has to offer. Very slightly paler than the Esclans, but all of these are a pale to mid salmon colour. Intense, very concentrated aroma with the richness and warmth of old Grenache on the front palate and a bit of VermentinoRolle lift on the finish. Nice wine, though I wouldn't pay twice as much as for Esclans. Still quite Chewy on the finish. Jancis Robinson. This is a top quality rose from the South of France, made from a blend of local grape varieties. As is typical for this area is a pale and delicate pink. It is full flavours and aromas of ripe, crisp strawberries.
