Case includes Product information Albert Bichot Monthélie, Vintage2012, A bouquet of wild blackberries, blackcurrants and plums leads to a fleshy palate bursting with summery fruit freshness., About this bottleFound in the Côte de Beaune between the villages of Volnay and Meursault, the small appellation of Monthélie deserves to be better known, especially as its red wines offer all the power and elegance of its neighbours, yet offer deliciously youthful drinking. The appellation’s vineyards sit on the northern side of a sharp hollow in the flank of the Côte de Beaune slope, facing in a southerly direction immediately to the north of Meursault. For this cuvée, winemaker Alain Servaux hand harvested Pinot Noir grapes to ensure quality and consistency, cool fermenting the fruit to retain its delicate character, then ageing the wine in a mixture of French oak barrels to soften it ready for drinking., Grape variety 100% Pinot Noir, Country of originFrance, RegionBurgundy, More information Bottle size750 ml, Alcohol content13 %, Alcohol units per bottle9.8, Alcohol units per serving1.6, Serving Size125 ml, AllergensSulphites, Stopper typeCork, Bottling address Maison Albert Bichot, 8 Rue Colbert, 21200 Beaune, France
