El Dorado have released the limited Rare Collection range which open up the unparalleled collection of rare and precious single marque aged El Dorado rums. Subtle notes of Pot Still molasses based aromas with smoke, mild anise and spice aromas with hints of sweet cut grass. Slight smoky notes interwoven with exotic fruits, charred wood, and fruity molasses. The body is medium heavy with a lingering alcohol aftertaste for delivering the flavours with a finish of charred wood and mild fruity notes. Versailles Wooden Single Pot Still rum from this still is used in the El Dorado 12 Year Old.
