The output voltage and current are displayed simultaneously on the front panel. There is an analog interface either 0 to 10V or 0 to 5V and the units have a plug n play slot which can be retrofitted at any time by the user to provide additional functionality RS232, IEEE, USB, CAN, LAN, PROFIBUS. A pre set feature allows the user to store output voltage, output current, over voltage protection OVP, under voltage limit UVL and power settings which can be retrieved with the touch of a button. The devices have a remote sensor to compensate for lead resistance to the load up to 2V. Models from 1kW have autoranging high voltage or high current output at a constant power output.
