This 12 YO is produced from 80% Ugni Blanc which gives this Armagnac it's strength and balance, 10% of the blend is Folle Blanche which gives fruitiness and a delicate aroma and 10% is Colombard adding additional fruitiness. The palate is rich and very rounded the strength of the alcohol is smoothed out by while remaining powerful with vanilla, woody and fruity aromas, which includes spiced hints of cinnamon. The palate is full of rich elegant flavours of prune and orange with spicy hints giving rise to a long smooth finish. A Gold Medal winner at the International Wine Spirit Competition 2001 and Silver Medal International Wine Spirit Competition 2003 2008. Great Value Award WINE Magazine January 2003.
