Nose A deep earthiness of lemon with zesty citrus top notes. Palate Thick and oily with a welcoming sweet creaminess, lemon meringue pie and subtle notes of vanilla. Finish An intense citrus pithiness with lingering lemon zest. The spirit is diluted with water originating from Chase's bore hole from the bottom field of their farm. The diligent 72 hour maceration which follows with dried Eureka Lemon peel helps enhance the refreshing citrus notes and adds a sumptuous viscosity to the vodka. The mouth feel develops further as the alcohol intensifies the pectin into the liquid, at the same time imparting the subtle yellow tinge to the vodka. After 10 days of being stored in tanks, the vodka is rested and then ready to be bottled.
